Some children of Saint Christopher’s Home with their new school stationery at their home in Nakasi yesterday.

Children of St Christopher’s Home and Methodist Dilkusha Children’s Home were full of joy when they held up their school stationery, thanks to Star Printery Ltd’s initiative.

Over 50 children from the two orphanages will be going back to school in style this year.

The donation was part of Star Printery’s new Educare exercise books launch.

Usenia Lakoduadua, 14, has been staying at St Christopher’s Home for the past four years and she will be in Year Eight at St Joseph the Worker Primary School.

Usenia said the children at the home were looking forward to start school next week.

Methodist Dilkusha Home superintendent Deaconess Leba Laveti was grateful for the timely donation.

Star Printery Limited creative director Prasanth Amin said: “We are happy to be officially launching our new Educare Exercise Books at the homes.”

Mr Amin said: “We wanted to do something special for these kids and this was a very good time as school starts next week.”

He added they would continue their support next year.
